Clarion Challenge is a multiplayer business simulation built for MBA classrooms and corporate training workshops. Teams of 2โ3 players step into the role of Chief Revenue Officer at a $78M B2B compliance company facing a critical strategic crossroads: build a direct enterprise sales motion in 90 days while 52% of revenue depends on channel partners already building competing products.
Players research the situation through internal documents, consult six AI-powered executives โ each with distinct personalities, hidden agendas, and institutional knowledge โ and then submit strategic deliverables under pressure.
The game runs across 3 rounds in 2 workshop sessions. Each round, teams submit a diagnosis, a guiding principle, and a deliberate trade-off. These decisions are evaluated in real-time by Claude across four dimensions โ strategic clarity, execution feasibility, market responsiveness, and stakeholder management โ producing scored feedback, narrative consequences, and a live leaderboard. The AI characters remember prior conversations and adapt their trust levels, making every interaction meaningful.
The technical architecture pairs a React + Framer Motion frontend with a Supabase backend for real-time multiplayer sync, N8N workflow automation for decision processing, and Anthropic's Claude API for both NPC dialogue and strategic assessment. The result is a polished, mobile-first experience with an editorial "executive briefing room" aesthetic โ designed to feel like a high-stakes board meeting, not a classroom exercise.
